cant find the little box behing jbl hu help?

i have traced the wires everything and they just go to a bundle of wires, the reason im trying to do this is because i want to install a new hu but i just cant find the damn box and im growing desperate plus i dnt wanna cut into the wires either

I'm not quite sure I follow what you are doing. To install a aftermarket head unit on a 4th gen there is no box to mess with. You unplug the connections at the old head unit, and you need a harness that plugs into the oem connection and allows you to connect to the new head unit. That's the only connection to the oem system you make unless you have the steering wheel controls.

If you need it, I have everything needed to install a head unit except an antenna adapter for sale. I have a thread in the classifieds section with a list and pricing. If you don't have the items listed you will need them before you can do the install.

Either way, there's no black box or amp you have to connect into, only one plug that unplugs from the stock head unit.
