I'm a new owner of a 2006 4Runner Limited w/ Nav and RSE.
I have a media player that I've connected to the a/v inputs (yellow/red/white) in the center console. While parked (no unlock/over ride hacks), When I press Disc/Aux on the front player, the DVD in the RSE plays on both front/rear screens and the sound is played on the stock system.
I then press the VIDEO button my remote, the video on the RSE switches to my media player, but the audio is still playing from the DVD. Also the video screen up front is playing the DVD video and not the media player video.
Is there something else I need to do? I have the manual and doesn't say anything else except trying to press Disc/Aux again and that doesn't bring the sound through.
Is my system capable of playing audio and video from the aux input source to both screens and have sound outputted to all the speakers?
