Can't get cv to seat in front diff

Any ideas? Tried ring gap up and down and can't get it in. Drivers side. 05' v6.

Just tap it in Happy.....

All it takes is one good blow with a mallet or dead blow hammer and it will seat. You basically are just forcing that C-Clip to compress and pop in. So give the old C-Clip a squeeze with a pliers to understand the amount of force it will take to compress the new one and get it past the seat.

have someone hold it in place with some force towards the front diff then with a rubber mallet give it a good whack and it will go in, that's how I did mine about a month ago:bluejump:
