cant get off plug covers???!!!1

i cant get the cover off my 99 4rnr plugs. why? ive never seen anything like these. most overs just pop right off when you pull. these wont budge. are the covers held on by a "plastic lever" that needs to be pushed in with a flat head screwdriver??

My truck is a 2k and a 2.7, but I would assume our coils are similar. There is one screw holding each coil on my motor, I would check that first. If you have already removed them or the V6 does not have them then I don't know, that's all there is on my motor.

You have the 3.4L V6 ? Are you talking about the spark plug wires?

They are tight, you just have to twist them and pull.
