Cant get wife to bite......

OK , not in that way ....pigs !!

I've been trying to talk her into the CF leveling kit like deputy put on his 4R , she's just not buying it , I've showed her every pic of ever lift I could find , and she just does not get it.

Granted she gives me the its leased , but pending no accident or major issues with the truck I will buy it out since I will be 27k under my lease miles with and 80k extended warr. to boot, that I'm NOT going to give the dealer.

I do quit a bit of off roading , but it obviously would be for looks only . Since the front lift will only give and add'l 1+" and level it out somewhat.

I'll keep working at it !!!!

Maybe the fact i told her we need to thought a set of BFG's on and a bar on the front and a set of PIAA's pushed her over the edge. See she's footin the bill right now for everything until a get business off the ground. Why don't women see the advantages here>>>>>>>>>>???????????

Just buy it and have it installed anyways without her approval. I've done things like that a few times with my ex, she wasn't happy, but I was. So who cares...

I probably won't do that to my current gf though. It all depends on what and how much slack they give. :

What can I say fellas, I buy on impluse on smaller ticket items that will usually sneak by for the first week or so without anyone noticing right away. I had a new desktop computer for almost half year before anyone caught on. So I figure what the hell, do it now and deal with the consenquences later.

Do you think your wife would notice the difference that the front of the 4Runner is now 1" higher? Sorry, I don't want to get you into trouble either, but just seeing if there's a way you can get away with it. I suppose I tried it enough and she finally caught on. Opps. Oh wells.

i agree go with the lift.. my wife never notices the minor stuff i put on the 4runner, the only problem is i have to use my money or credit card to pay for something so she won't know (checking is joint) plus i get it delivered at work:

She really doesn't care but just wish she was into the same stuff I am into. Hey I have no problem going shopping at Victoria Secrets with her. No reason she can't appreciate a set of BFG's and a nice little lift.

She's all in good fun , she has an absolute ZERO "B" factor so I always cut her some slack , she's wonderful.

2 minutes ago she asked if I wanted to go to the mall with her tomorrow ..... SURE honey then we'll stop at the tire store , the truck acc. store , and maybe the Toyota dealer so I can test drive an Fj , maybe stop by an old girlfriends house....lol.

The 4runners looks so much better with a lift, even a small lift is noticeable when parking next to a stock 4runner.
