Retrofit a set of Morimoto projectors in 99+ housings. 4300-4500k

Halogen fog lights. This will be your best best for rain, snow, and obviously fog.

LED light bar.

Idk about you guys. But a light bar in the snow sucks. Might depend where it's mounted. But I have a light bar above windshield. If it's snowing and I'm driving with the light bar on. I cannot see anything but the snow flakes. Might be different if it's mounted lower but idk. Anyways... upgrading my factory bulbs to the best they have at autozone. It made a small difference. So I like it.

FWIW - just went looking for 99-02 OEM headlight assemblies on a couple dealer sites and they show that they have been discontinued. So it looks like if anyone (like me) wants to upgrade their pre 99 T4R to the later OEM lights we'll have to take our chances at the junkyard or go aftermarket.

Same issue with my 2000. Disabled the DLR lights and replaced with better bulbs, I think they were Sylvania Xtravisions. Just ordered a set of factory fogs to help.

So. I ordered some aftermarket 2002 assemblys off of ebay for $62 for the set and that included bulbs. I haven’t been in the rain yet but I can already tell an improvement over the 97 assembly. Whoever suggested that thanks a lot! Now I’m still probably going to put in better bulbs and maybe the Rigid SAE fogs fitted in the dealer installed locations as well just because why the hell not? Lol...
