Canucks vs USA Bring it on!

Canada just "beat" the Slovaks in Olympic hockey putting us into the final. It wasn't clean because we were coming apart near the end blowing a 3-0 lead. Hope that doesn't happen in the final.

Our guys need to take a lesson from the ladies: you get to have beer and cigars at centre ice if you work your a$$ off.

Silver just isn't an option on home ice!

Let's go USA- gotta support Callahan and Drury from the Rangers!! One thing I learned from my trip to Canada- you can't win a hockey argument with a Canadian! USA USA USA :D

BTW, is it true that you guys only count one medal in the olympics- hockey?? No gold = failure.

USA all the way!

USA!!! USA!!! We whooped Canada in the first game and we will do it again!! Hollaa! Go Stastny #26!!!!! (Colorado Avalanche!)

I'm pulling for USA... But lets be honest, to beat Canada again on their home ice is very unlikely. If i was to put money on it i'd vote that canada will win. But it would be pretty sweet if the US can pull off the win again.

Either way it is going to be a hell of a game.

Its going to be one huge party here if we win. I can't get over how crowded our streets are.

First Gold then the Stanley Cup. I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself.

Joe Sakic lives near me and our neighbor lady's son is friends with him and I met him the year ('02) he won gold with Canada;very nice guy.

Hockey was invented in Canada so they take the olympics very seriously and it's really personal this time against USA and to "just" win the silver on home ice would be a failure but I'm so glad it's against USA which makes for great TV and drama and sh*t talking. ;):

There's been 21 gold medals won in Olympic history and Canada has 9 of them,USA has 2.

GO USA:moon:

Well, my first question is "When is the game"? Anyway, I looked it up.

"The United States vs. Canada gold medal game is scheduled for Sunday, February 28th at 12:15 p.m. PST. It's definitely going to be the must-watch event of these Olympics, and the country that walks away with this gold medal will have bragging rights for the next four years."

"With Canada's 3-2 win over Slovakia, another thriller between Canada and the U.S. is set to unfold. In a rematch of last week's Olympic heartstopper, the two teams will play for gold Sunday at 3p ET/12p PT."

So, 3PM on Sunday for people on the east coast. I will be there. By the way, I thought Canada did a great job hosting the olympics.

What a game!!

WOW!! A great way for the Olympics to end, with sudden death overtime.

Congrats to the Canadian team!

USA did set a personal best 37 medals;9 gold,15 silvers and 13 bronze.

It was a very good winter olympics (except for the luger's death of course) and Canada idd a great job hosting.

Great game, happy we won. There was one picture that was never taken in 2002 in Salt Lake, and they missed it again this time. Regardless of who won back then, or now, I would have liked to see a group picture of both teams together on the ice. Oh well.

I'm honking the horn right now. This city is crazy. Lou!!!!!!!!!! Great day to be a vancouverite let alone a Canadian.

And what a way to start the closing ceremony! Only the Canadians would be willing to poke fun at the problem in the opening ceremony. :lmao:
