Car makes loud supercharger noise

Hello,

I have a 98 2wd limited with 130K miles on it. No mods at all, it's just stock.

Recently the car makes a very loud supercharger noise (like the sound 03 Cobra's make) during first gear, and first gear only. The sound gets louder and shriller as I accelerate, sounding pretty cool actually, but it got very annoying now.

Anyone have any idea what might be the cause of this?

I also had several cases where I start the car, and then it idles very very low and immediately shuts down. So I have to start it and hold the gas pedal down to keep the car from dying.

Maybe these two problems are connected?

Fan Clutch maybe?

hmm the fan clutch is the thing that holds and spins the radiator fan in the front, correct?

If that was the problem, wouldn't the sound be consistent in every gear?

Id get the same thing however after getting my exhuastt and having thing lubed up it seems to be gone. It could be my head tough. Some told me its alternator whine.
