Go on ebay and "sell" your car put the vin # in i think you get like 5 free car listings a year. So once you do that it comes with a free vehicle report let me know if that works for you

Yes it worked, but not until after I bought a carfax and then read your recommendation. D'oh. Good to know for the future!

Does this still work? I entered my VIN and started the process of listing it for sale, but stopped short of actually listing it. Didn't see anything that gave me a free vehicle report.

I've done this twice in the last few months -- I listed it for sale as a classified local sale (not a nationwide auction...) you have to complete the listing, then print the report (or just view) and then delete the ad.
