Cargo Area Rubber Mats

Hi All,

Just got my 4runner and joined this forum. So far I, I love both.

I have an SLR with the 3rd row seats. I need a rubber cargo mat for the cargo area when the seats are down. I am interested in the WeatherTechs, as i have already bought and sullied a set of front seat mats, and am happy with them.

After a lengthy talk with a WeatherTech sales rep, she stated that a cargo mat for the 3rd row 4Runner will not be available for another 2 months.

Have any of you with either the 3rd row or pull out shelf bought the current WeatherTech cargo mat? If so, how well does it fit/perform?

Or, do any of you have any other recommendations for a rubber cargo mat that fit's the 3rd Row option (when the seats are down)?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check with your dealer about a rubber mat for the cargo area. I just stopped in at my dealer last week and they quoted me $95 for a Toyota rubber cargo mat. I think this accessory is relatively new for the 5th generation 4Runners. It appears that there is one available for SR5 models w/ 3rd row seating.

I tried two dealers in my area. Both of them use the order WeatherTech and not the Toyota brand. Weird.

I have a Husky liner in the Land Cruiser. It is has worked well, except I have never liked how high the sides are ( ~ 2").

I ordered the cargo mat from Toyota last weekend (Toyota calls it the Cargo Tray), and am picking it up this Saturday. I was able to talk them down to ~$70. It should cover the area from the tailgate to the 2nd row with the 3rd row folded down, but I am anxious to see how it fits in person.
