cargo basket type roof rack with padding for paddle boards?

Hi all, are you aware of any basket style roof racks that would have the ability to put some padding on the front and rear cross rails to give a little padding for paddle boards, kayaks, etc?

Looking thru some threads now for some ideas, but just incase I miss one....

I prefer the longer racks (7/8 I've seen them called) FWIW.

thanks - I like that simple idea. I suppose all it take is some generic rack pads like that and I can probably use any of the basket racks and be covered either way.

At your hardware store for like $2.00, pre-split on one side.

yeah, I suppose even a pool noodle would work but just wanted it to look a bit nicer. but yeah, good to have options for sure.
