Cargo Floor - Is there Space

I want to install a custom box (approx 6" tall).

2 issues
1. i have the dd cargo. it sux, i'm gonna get rid of it, so issue resolved, right?
2. i would probably say i NEED every inch of height.

how deep into the car can i go? how much of a pita is it?

this box is going to be a replacement floor basically, will support tons of weight

any thoughts on if i can rip up the floor? how would i go about doing it?

you should PM him and ask. i don't think the cargo floor is any deeper than it looks.

this is what i was talking about

i'm taking out dd cargo so i will be 1-2 inches down, then this will be 6" approx

i need as much space as possible, so i'm trying to see if i can get down further
