cargo liner for rear sliding tray

You're supposed to remove the carpet first?

I bought my oem cargo tray liner via Amazon from whatever dealer parts dept and it didn't really have instructions, just a reference that the dealer had access to instructions & should supply them.

So, I just unrolled it & put it on... fits OK, but maybe better without carpet?

I'm new, please be gentle, just bought 2012 TE in August.

This was in it when I bought it. Is it the OEM version? It's absolutely worthless flimsy garbage and it fits horribly. It looks great from 10' away but that's it. Anyone found a good solid one they recommend?

Yes. I have the same one. I can't seem to keep it in place even with stuff on it. Any suggestions?

I used mine once and it actually helped my cargo slide around. I mean the cargo stayed in the same place , but it was using the mat like a surfboard.

Well, its a few years later, and I got a new 4Runner with a sliding deck, and I am once again wondering if anyone knows of a better option than the OEM version. I'd rather not buy that one...

OEM, but put velcro strips under the edge, all the way around.

I did the same thing and the Velcro has been very effective thus far. Without Velcro, the liner is an annoyance and doesn't like to stay put.
