Cargo net for 3rd row equipped 2010 4runner

Just got the cargo net for my 2010 limited (equipped with the 3rd row seat). It came with no mounting instructions, but am I to assume that the elastic loops go around the upper hooks nearest to the lift gate, and that the two clips on the bottom attach to the retractable tie down points?

boy do I feel like an idiot.

I scoured that manual 3 times when I bought the truck last week and never saw it....
