So what do you guys use? Trying to get more ideas then the drawer systems.

I mainly want something to house the off road gear without losing much room. Currently I'm using a duffel bag and then trash bag lined mil spec bag once it gets dirty. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

I use a 20x20x24 inch tough plastic storage box with a lid and snapping closure. It's nearly square and packs a lot for its size. About $20 at OSH. I recently picked up a $60 black tool bag on sale and with a 15% off coupon from OSH for $34. Holds a lot and keeps it hidden. I plan to use the bag for recovery gear as I collect more straps, shackles and a come along.
I'm looking for a black fleece or otherwise rugged blanket to cover everything in the back. The black is hard to see and hides shapes and goodies.
What the eyes don't admire the heart won't desire.
:hat:

I found two underbed storage bins (commonly used to for storing gift wrapping paper rolls) will fit in lengthwise side by side between the wheel wells. They have lids and wheels, and hold all my recovery equipment, emergency gear, and tools that I like to have with. I place the OEM rubberized rear cargo matt on top and it makes it look "normal" for prying eyes, and since the containers are only about 8" tall they don't take up much vertical real estate. Available at places that sell plastic storage tubs...

I've got a Rubbermaid Action Packer bin (24 gal, 28x20x18) with basic recovery gear, air comp, jumper cables, spare clothes, extra water, etc that I bungeed down to prevent sliding. It takes up < half of the cargo area, the dog's heavy blanket takes up the other half. If I need to I can remove it completely or part out whatever I need into smaller bags. I definitely recommend something with a closed top, for a while I was using a storage tote but it would collect so much dust/dog hair that every time I went to get something it looked like Pigpen was swirling around the cargo space!

I got a little generic pistol nylon case from Walmart which is actually pretty nice. I keep the toyota emergency kit and some other stuff in that which fits OK in the side cutout where the amp is on limiteds. And I'm planning on doing the wheel well storage idea as well that harper and antman came up with.
