So a deer jumped in front of me as I was driving along,SMASH my runner is hurt! Despite the damage I drove 10 miles to a friends with little worrys! So what next?? Tacoma conversion???

I'd say yes if it were extensive damage, but it isnt. Looks like all you need is a bumper and driver's side headlight and corner. Atleast that's all I can really pick out from the pic.

What happened to the deer? NO JK! Don't want to see that pic..

Looks like you need new headlight filler panels, too.

deer sure can screw up things.

I am curious how my new bumper would take a hit now. but dont want to purposely test it though.

At least everyone is safe and the damage is minor to what could of happened. Plus, if you go an ARB or equivalent you can at least relish in the though of revenge (not that I wish you another encounter)

Actually, that deer did next to no damage. Many cars have been totaled by hitting deer. My mom lost her mustang to a deer when she was young; I don't think she ever really got over it.

Yeah, looks like you got off with less damage than most. One of my friends hit a deer about 2 weeks ago and cost 4k in damage.

A few years back my friends mom who slammed a telephone pole after swerving to avoid some deer. It seems either that or people end upside down in the ditch. I'd much rather just lose a bumper and headlight.

I've always thought 4runner front ends look way better than the Taco. It's mainly that flashy Taco grille I can't stand. If anything, I would like to see more people converting their Tacos to 4runner front ends, but to each their own.

And I agree with the rest of the group, get an ARB or something... afterall, you still live in deer country.
