Carpet dyeing

Has anyone any experience in sprucing up your 4Runner carpeting? Mine has faded over the years (1998) and I would like to dye mine myself but have not found any information online.

Has anyone any experience in sprucing up your 4Runner carpeting? Mine has faded over the years (1998) and I would like to dye mine myself but have not found any information online.

I've been restoring my Camaro, and dying the carpet was something I considered, after researching. I came to the conclusion it was just better to replace the carpet all together.

Most of the dyes out there, either don't last, or were not meant to dye the entire carpart area (just spot fixes).
