Carpet Replacement/lizard skin?

So i received my truck with no carpet and a crappy spray on bed liner...
I want to kill some road noise that is cause by this...Im either thinking carpet kit or something else...anyone have any suggestions as what to get?
and please dont just say EBAY....
if you have personally bought it before please tell me pros and cons..post pics if youd like...

I was excited about stripping the carpet and doing a roll in bedliner, then a buddy did it to his yukon and that cured me from doing this to a DD.

it got so hot the stuff flaked off the interior next to the tranny. It was chunky texture so the easy wipe down method was a pain and he skinned his knuckles a lot. We damaged our shotguns laying them on the cargo area. We had to scream to hear each other, did i mention it was hot and noisy?

Lizard skin is cool stuff and will help you reflect some heat and noise but Youll never see me do this mod due to the noise. The guys on Power block used Lizard skin on project thunder road. Blown Mustang motor in a short cab, short bed ranger. Im sure you can google it.

I ran it (Lizard) in my Courier, decent enough, removable, scrubable, hoseable, easy peasy.

i heard of alot of ppl liking stockinteriors.com. I havent replaced my carpets yet but do plan on doing it and im going to use this company. Pros are you can customize the thickness and get close to stock color. Con is it comes all bundle up and wrinkled so you have to lay it out for a few days so it can get its shape back.

Can you explain why the suggest link is a good product?

It seems like it would be really easy to clean and maintain, though personally I would go with carpet. You could get some insulation from eastwood to make the ride really quiet.
