as an fyi I figured I might let you on to my exprience. As some of you know I placed a special order for an SE with Nav on March 23. Last week I could not get in touch with the Cars Direct Rep. I called and spoke with the manager who told me that the rep had moved to another job. No data was left for any person at Cars Direct about my order. I called the dealer being used by Cars Direct Toyota of Alameda. They had no info on me. After several e mails to them, they would not honor the same price given to me with Cars Direct in writing. So I told them both politely of course to F off. I am going with a local dealer and will add after market nav. Lesson learned.

weird? my co-worker's sister have had a good experience with cars direct.

Unless you trust the rep, it needs to be in writing.

My rep is excellent, there's a mutual trust between us. Two Toyotas from him so far and looking forward to future purchases with him.

Righto. I had it in writing from Cars Direct but then thier rep left me high and dry. the dealer would not give the same figure.

PS when I notified the dealer of my decision they got a bit testy...typical. I might use Cory when I get ready to buy....
