Do you have young kids that ride their bikes around your truck? I had that happen before, the handle bars got me. Just throwin it out there.

Not young kids but roommates. Don't worry, I already thought of that because the scratches were at handlebar height. Unfortunately, they are both on road bikes with downturned handlebars.

Definitely some poor sap in an Xterra or a Pathfinder that parked next to you and got jealous. Don't worry, he will get his as long as he doesn't sell his vehicle.
