Ok... Ive read all the threads about steering wheel vibrations. The left to right kind. Wobble, vibration, high frequency etc. Mine shows up around 70, which is the speed limit here in MI. All four tie rod ends are new, upper and lower BJ's, tires, poly rack bushings. Its been aligned twice. OME 881 with spacer in the front, 890 in the rear.
Here is my question... I have read that not enough caster can make the front end seem light, like its floating around and can cause the steering wheel shake. Twitchy if you will.... Is this something that normally shows up after 3" of lift in the front and folks just deal with it? Is the cost of aftermarket UCA that have more caster built into them worth it?
My rotors are warped, but not so bad that I believe they could be causing the high speed vibration. I suppose its possible, but the warp is very mild in the pedal and seems to be present mainly at low speeds.
Something I did find odd... I had originally installed the lift without the front spacer and got it aligned. Decided I wanted the extra lift in the front and put the spacer in. Went to get it aligned again and was told the camber was still spot on. Weird?
