cat heat shield holder ?

Can anyone direct me to an image or site that shows how the catalytic converter heat shield is held on over the converter ?

Shield was rattling against the converter so I removed it. It is two pieces with a clamp inside . The clamps inside are completely rusted and just falling apart so I ordered new ones. The sheild itself is in good shape . What holds the shield away form the converter itself ? There was a long piece of very very rusted metal that fell out when I removed the shields. It seems that there must be some kind of hanger or standoff that allows you to attach the shield in place and hold it away from the converter .

I have searched google and gone to a bunch of parts places, they all show the shield and the clamps but none of them show what you attach the shield to.

Are you referring to the shield that is mounted to the under body above the cat?
If so it's held in place by studs/nuts as I recall. Just need to fit some washers over the studs after put shield back in place and screw nuts against the washers.
