Catalytic Converter change

Ok, my car is covered by the TSB for getting my catalytic converter replaced so I'm having the "surgery" scheduled. Those who have had their cars in for the same procedure, how many days can I expect to have a rental car for?

I do not want it done to my vehicle, but it should be done by the end of the same day.

Ok, cool. I want mine done because I like driving with the windows down and I currently can't without feeling nauseous.

What State are you from that you can drive with the windows down? Or do you live in the Southern hemisphere

California. Well, I certainly can't do it now. We're enjoying record lows of 32 degrees. But in the summer it is 110 degrees.

It took my dealer one day to complete. I dropped the 4R off at night and picked it up the next day after work. The 4R no longer smells!!!

That's good news. My dealer has declared that mine doesn't qualify even though it smells....
