I just bought a '99 4Runner not long ago and am in the process of restoring it a wee bit. It needs new cats, and to make it worse I live in SOCAL so they have to be OB2 CA compliant. Anybody know of some good aftermarket cats I could instal myself. The cat housing just unbolts as far as I know, as opposed to needing to be welded opposite the flange. Help please! The stealership says that the Toyota cats will be $2,000! Mainly because they for some reason or another, decided to ship an entirely new exhaust pipe, instead of doing possibly one of the easiest cat swaps they'd ever do. Facists! Anyways, anybody got any bright ideas? I'm not rich by any standards and I only need them to pass smog, as later I'm gonna get a catback for it anyway. I need to have it smogged by Feb.20th,2006! Help please!
