Catz Fog Lights

OK so I am going round and round on which fog lights to purchase. I have a 1998 4Runner Limited. I want something small to fit in the grill area and not be that noticeable. I have been on ebay and just came across Catz fog lights. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these lights or has any knowledge of them? If you have any other suggestions I'm am open for them.

Doesn't your Limited already have foglights or a slot (next to signal lights)? If so, do you really need another set of foglights? Maybe peeps in here never heard nor used Catz foglights.

personally I would avoid that brand

the 98s often came with just dealer added or port added fog lights in the lower (middle) valance below the bumper.

I guess I would try to go with a stock type of imitation. Try to find another 98 nearby and copy their style. I think Hella makes a square style that may fit or you may have to go to Optilux-another name they sell as.

Thanks for the reply but 98's did not come with stock fog lights or a standard place to put them-at least my 98 does not.

The 3rd gens were outfitted with older style Hella 550s from the factory or the dealer. They mount in each corner of the bottom valance. Just have to trim the plastic to mount them. Not all 3rd gens are outfitted with fogs as they were an optional piece of equipment.

Never used a Catz product always just bought Hella.
