CB Radio Mount Locations?

Okay I have a 98 SR5 with Sunroof. I am looking to see where others have mounted their CB's to try to figure out the best location for mine. PLease include pics if possible.

That is where I mounted mine in my 98. That location works great and looks good too. I had to mount my CB in the center console in my 05. Will see if I can find a pic.

yup thats it! how much did you spend for an antenna and full install?

Thats actually not my runner. I got the radio for about $50 and a 4' firestik antenna off ebay for $20. Im going to install it soon though.

SnowRunner that is the set up I was thinking of running and the location. Looks good. the other choice I was thinking of was making a custom overhead mount but that would lower my rearview mirror to low since I am 6'4.

I think under the CD deck is the best spot. It fits like it was ment to be there.

Have you thought about installing a Cobra 75 WX ST? I have one and it's a clean install hidden below the dash with just one cord running from the small control box to the handheld mic.

I looked at the 75 but if possile I want to get a full size since i can have it "tuned" for better output.

Where do you have your CB mounted? Is it the 18WSXt and mounted under your head unit? I am debating between the cobra 18 and putting it under the current radio or the Cobra 75 which is just the Hand held mike unit and being able to remove it and doing some slick mount for the connector. IF you have a pic that would also be great.
