CB Radio with Smart Key Systems

I would like to install a CB in my 2020 Venture with the smart key system. The owners manual is vague on weather or not this would effect the system in any way. Does anyone have personal experience with this ?

I have a CB in my 2020 Nightshade. No problems with it at all.

Just find a keyed power source with enough spare capacity to handle the amperage requirements for your cb, and be sure to mount your antenna on the hood or roof.

Smart key is a non issue

I’ve got a 50w ham radio in my 2020 Venture (Yaesu FTM-400XDR) and have had no issues. I wired it straight to the battery.
