CBI: 3rd Gen Rear Bumper

CBI 3rd gen Bumper w/ Swing-away...

Are you pleased with your CBI bumber/tirecarrier purchase? Does it rattle much? How does the swing-out latch down? Is the spindle pivot stout enough?
I have a 2000 3 gen and this is the next step...
Any info on your experience with CBI would be great.

Are you pleased with your CBI bumber/tirecarrier purchase? Yes, I'm very pleased!
Does it rattle much? Actually, it doesn't rattle at all because the way the swing-away is closed and locked down.
How does the swing-out latch down? It's actually not latched at all (and I think that's a big reason why it doesn't make noise). The handle on the drivers side is actually a very big screw that tightens the swing-away to the bumper. It hasn't even loosened one bit on even the roughest trails.
Is the spindle pivot stout enough? It's very stout. It's very similar to what the Forest Service uses on the big steel gates they use to close off trails.
I have a 2000 3 gen and this is the next step...
Any info on your experience with CBI would be great.

I highly recommend CBI. I did months of research before I bought mine and I believe they are the best design out there. The construction is as solid as it gets and the workmanship is outstanding. Every weld on this thing is absolutely perfect. Steve (of CBI) is a master fabricator. The only thing was it took ~4 months from the time I ordered until it arrived, but it's worth the wait.
