from what they told me is that they are going to build one more for someone so they can fit it on to another truck to get everything set

Honestly, if I didn't have that hitch and recovery hook on there, I probably wouldn't have a bumper by now. Saved my a$$ a quita few times already.

yeah man! For the weekend mild core wheeler this thing is perfect. Its saved me a few times. The day after I got it painted some girl rear ended me after a big snow storm, nothing happened to my rig. Hers on the other hand... lets just say it took awhile to get the tow truck to get there.

Probably be cheaper just to build a bumper out of the hitch.
Hey, you got a picture of the bottom side of the steel bumper attached to a runner, might have something here.

OK! I have some news! Sorry ive been super busy with school and work!
Pricing:
Just bumper: $700 - $800ish
With swingout: $1200ish
With powder coating: +$200
Nathan said that they are working on finalizing some production pricing on it so those prices are a rough estimate but should be close. If you want one soon Nathan said that you could go a head and call them up and place an order but the lead time will be about 5-6 weeks.
I did pick up an other pair of spidertrax for the rear though. The bumper sticks out just a little bit further than the plastics so it makes the rear wheels look really recessed. Ill get up some pictures tonight of that.

Say $1400ish for a fully loaded one. That is still about $1000 less than the full plate and about 50lbs!

Not bad with the swing out and powdercoat.
If you get a chance can you measure the departure angle to the hitch? I'm just trying to see how much you gain with this option.

That's a decent price and weight. Just prefer to have more of the exit clearance. Not a weekend warrior, and when I do go out, it's usually more than mild as my bumper shows.

Yes I can do that! I was going to the other day ive just been slammed with finals and really haven't had time for much.
I think this bumper would be a really good rear option for those wheelers of any level. I wheel mine with ease cuz its my only truck and I really don't have the money for anything else. Its all DOM .120 wall so it will take a good hit.

Mines a DD also. Was thinking about removing the lower plastic door and fender pieces possibly. Would look strange with the bumper piece still there.
Could pull it off, then I would probably be cutting the CBI to fit after removing the cross member out to put it in tighter. Then the sides would be out farther also.
If I had a complete angles shot of other steel bumpers like you posted, I could get creative and modify my hitch into a bumper. Have the tools for it.
To many ideas running through my head, you know. Thing is, if this came out 3-4 yrs ago, probably would have jumped on it.
