Sean and I installed a CBI Front Hybrid Bumper on my 98 and made a video of the install.

Same here! Ironic thing is my dad was a welder by trade before he retired. He wanted to teach me some basic skills but I always shrugged it off. I could kick myself on that. He still welds small stuff with a 110v mig but he sold his 220v Lincoln stick machine a few years back. I can always ask and practice on the small machine.

Ya Tim do it! Some junior college courses or even YouTube. Practice makes perfect!!

My dad's best friend was an aerospace welder, and he showed me the ropes. He was really the first guy to tell me to invest in good tools, to follow the buy once cry once creed. You local Tech college should offer classes.

No, I don't, but my sister, the architect, does. She begged me or my brother to weld her together tubing for a pergola in 2014. Since we drug our heels for months, she bought the welder, took a class at the tech college, and welded her steel together, then shot us the middle finger salute. Nothing stops my sister. My brother in law says she should audition for Flashdance II if it ever gets made, given her welding acumen.

I have this one, only because a friend of my brother is an ESAB employee, and a discount is applied. To be honest it is overkill for what I use it for, where the 140 would fill 95% of my needs:

That's a cool story. That welder looks very fancy. That's a lot of coin so I guess you'd have to be really into welding and either use if for work or have tons of projects to make it worth the purchase.
