Does anyone have these with kickouts? I've been wondering what they look like. I like the idea of using the sliders as foot holds for accessing the roof. Is there enough protruding without the kickouts to get a hold with my feet?

Do these come as bare steel as pictured? Is powder coating an option? I guess it would be simple to prime and paint them yourself...then you could even do any color you wanted to match your truck.

for the love of God, do not order bare steel sliders. I made this mistake and i primed them and painted them and the paint got all types of f'ed up during the install, despite my taking necessary precautions. If I could do it all over again, I would paint on top of the powdercoat or use a really durable enamel or epoxy based paint of some sort. My two cents.

I have shrockworks bolt ons, not CBI, but they look very similar, no kickout on mine. Yes, they work great as steps. They dont sit too much lower than the truck itself though as they are angled up.

I have been having a hell of a time installing them, but they are definitely very well made and rugged, as I'm sure CBI's are too - CBI just wasn't having a group buy and those gussets would not have agreed with my xreas lines

Noted. Thanks. The sliders I ran on my JKs were powder coated and they held up great. Better than I expected actually. Eventually I'm going to replace my OE running boards with some real sliders and these look nice.
