hey im no pro but heres my 2 cent: this is pics of mine in my 94 t4r. i had to make heat shields to put over the defrost vent though is only problem. dont buy a walmart magnetic mount antenna. its not worth s.... i have one and it sucks. get a firestick from trdparts4u.com. my buddy has one. hope it helps! sorry dont have better pics

Thanks Jimmy. Yea i know all about those walmart antennas lol. I'm in need of a new antenna so I'll have to check those out. What kind of reception do they get? What kind of CB do you have? I have the Standard Cobra 29. Now do you have yours hardwired in or do you just use your cigarette lighter? Thanks again

i dont get great reception, but then again i made my own antenna haha. i have a cobra 19 ultra 3. i picked it up at radio shack on sale for 35 bucks. i have my wires run under the dash to the fuse box by the drivers feet and spliced it so the pos end is wrapped around an auxiliary fuse (i used the radio fuse) and the ground screwed into to the inside of the door jam where i scrapped away the paint in a little place. id like to upgrade my cb as well as my antenna soon but $$ tight

I had a Cobra 19 and mounted it in my ash tray sense i don't smoke.

I was thinking about cutting out the extra small center console and disconnecting the rear heater. where do those copper lines go? does anyone one. i know it runs underneath the car but im new to T4Rs. also i dont have a garage or anything to work in and its been snowing and raining since i got it on Monday.

They run under the truck all the way to under your hood. They are coolant line's, if you pull the rear heat out you will have to connect the 2 hose's together so the coolant can still flow through.

Hope it's not to late to put my 2cents in. I have a 95 4R and the first mod i did to it was a cb and antenna. I have a uniden pc68 elite with a 4' cobra highgear antenna. Not a cheap setup but it was a gift. I have the cb itself mounted on the shifter. Down but the passenger side. My girlfriend is the main person that sits there and her being small it works out. and even when my bigger buddies ride there it's still out of the way. My mic is mounted on a clip under the clock ( reason for mounting there is a non working clock) Power cables run under the drivers side carpet and up and out the grommet then to the battery. As for the antenna, it is a 4' antenna so it has it's ups and downs. It is mounted with a 6 inch diameter magnet in the center of my roof. ex. Parking garages and garages are off limits with the antenna up. It does unscrew from the mount but it is easier to unstick it and just stick it back later. The cable runs down the frame of my passenger rear door through all the plastic and up and out the glovebox to the cb. Due to the fact it is so tall, i get great reception. i mean GREAT reception. it's very loud and clear with no popping or whistling.
All together i think my setup was about $230. $150 for the cb (which was tuned free when i bought it) and $80 for the antenna. Anyways hope this helped if you'd like can try and get some picks up for ya. Best of luck!!:cheers:
