I’m going to beat a dead horse, but I’ll provide all the info I can, if it helps….
P0171. P0450.
They both come on within a minute. What I’ve done so far; replaced both 02 sensors, clean the MAF, new gas cap (one year old).
Last summer I had the fuel tank replaced, I did not replace the fuel pump assembly/unit.
When I drive, there’s no sluggish ride, no high idle or anything out of the norm. When I park the truck, I can always smell a faint smell of gas. Noticeable in the garage, I probably wouldn’t notice it outdoors.
With that all being said, im hoping for some suggestions. I’d rather not replace a milllon things if I can narrow down the culprit. Could both of these codes be fuel pump related?
Lastly, this may sound naive but I’ll ask
Anyway, when you clear the codes, is the truck running as intended? Or does that not matter what so ever, if the code is on or off? Thanks in advance mafia for any feedback.
