Cell Phone Mounts

Just curious what everyone was doing with their cell phones in their 4Runners. Do you guys have mounts for example on the windshield?? I have a Razr and want to get a mount for it. Shoot me some ideas and pics if you guys have them of what your cell phone mounts look like.

I'm after a cellphone holder that does not invole drillng holes in the dash or sticking anything on the windshield (I'm in CA). I've seen ipod holders that slot into a cup holder, for example, but nothing similar for cellphones.

they have cell phone cup holder mounts.. i've seen them.

I solved this problem by purchasing a BlueTooth ear piece. I can receive and place calls so I don't need to mount my cell phone.

I use a windshield mount for my PDA (although I usually attach it to the hard, shiny side of the console as this is more out of the way any is not visually distracting as I am driving). Mine is made by a company called Arkon (http://www.arkon.com/). The quality is good. They have tons of mounts for cell phones, PDAs, GPS, sat radio, Sony PSPs, etc.... Their cup holder mount for cell phones looks really nice.

I keep my Treo, in the cup holder, pocket in front of the arm rest or in the pouch on my belt. Having Bluetooth helps a lot.

Mine fits pretty well in the cubby where the ashtry goes. Ijust drop it in there.

same here but a little change that I wish bluetooth had done was to say who is calling when it beeps. I still look at my phone to find out whose calling.

I also have a Razr, but myn bluetooth is not set up yet. Need to get a head set. right now I set it in the pass side cup holder so I can see it when a caall come's in,other wise it stay's on my belf clip.

Some phones will actually do this. If your phone has voice-command dialing, you can store an audio vesion of each person's name in the phone. Then, it will actually say the name of the person calling at the beginning of the ring. This is how my last two Sony-Ericsson phones worked ....

nice, i know i have voice dialing but i dont know if i have the thing that says their name where i can record it. On my moto E-815, it tries to say the name itself when im scrolling through my phone book and have my blue tooth off

What cell phone mount is that?? I like it away from the vents. I like my air in my face and not blocked. I have bluetooth but still like phone mounted. Any info is appreciated. Thinking about the mount for my ipod nano that screws underbolts on passenger seat and extends upward. Saw it on ebay!! On that phone mount you have is it adjustable for Razr. More pics may help a little closer.

If you're talking about mine, it's "Bracketron". In the kit there were different adapters for any phone.

My LG 8100 has this feature.

It's called Voice Command & Voice Announce on the LG lines. The phone will say either the name of the incoming call (if it's one you've added to your phonebook) or the number of the incoming call.

It's pretty cool since you don't have to set anything up to make it work (record specific names, etc.).

This feature along with a handsfree kit works great while driving.
