Cement 4runners - Post pics here

Coming back to the thread after some time... really cool to see this much cement!

Here are a few more of mine. I'll be adding a Gobi Stealth rack soon... I hope my order isn't delayed too much.

These photos are also on my Instagram account so apologies for the duplicates for those who have already seen them [emoji482]

Are you taking pictures on a Motorola Razor :p
I've yet to see another Cement in person, not counting the one that I planned to meet from this forum.

Don't know if it's inappropriate to post more pictures in the thread, but already bit by the mod bug.

I wanted something different, so I installed the N-fab rock sliders with detachable steps and added a N-fab sticker on the rear spoiler. I also installed the switchback white leds to match the HIDs. Turn signals are still orange. Will be installing the red led signals for the rear once they arrived!

Nice! How do you like the TRD intake? Noticeable difference in sound and mpg?

So far I like it very much. Absolutely a change in sound. Engine sounds much "throatier," and is clearly louder than stock. I have less than 500 miles, so I can't say I was use to the stock factory sound, but I noticed a distinct difference.

I did not use the TRD air filter. I have a personal distaste for any oil soaked air filter. Nothing more than my opinion. I went with the AFE dry.

Zero noticeable difference in MPG or power. I've crunched the math on other vehicles and realize the break even for an intake is hundreds of thousands of miles away... I appreciate the better filtration and if I'm being honest... the looks. I've paid for dumber things based on appearance. :)

Haven't we all

Cheers,

The intake looks great! Mind sharing where you purchased it from?

This thread was extremely helpful: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/85960-how-guide-trd-cai-installation.html

You can order the entire kit and get all the little brackets, zip ties, and instructions from a Toyota store or even Amazon.

Or you can piece together all the parts for about half the price. All of the details are in the thread - I would start at the end (newest posts) and work your way back.

cement fun!

little offroad action over at rowher flats.
