Center Caps Peeling??

the center caps on my 03 4runner limited have started peeling...looks like the top layer or coating is beginning to bubble and peel in several spots....anyone else have this problem? mine only has 9000 klms on it, and im hoping the dealer will replace them...it doesnt look too bad right now, but if all the bubbled spot come off - which they will, it will be very noticeable.....think this is covered under warranty??? thanks

Almost 14k on mine, and so problem noted so far. Maybe they use an industrial strength road salt up there!

I do not have a problem with the center caps peeling. Since we are talking about peeling, the white raised lettering on my tires are starting to peel off. I did not hit any curbs either! I am just hoping it will not peel off all together.

gottem replaced

i finally went to the dealer, and they said theyve had to replace 3 sets of center caps for the same problem....mine have now been replaced, but keep an eye on yours as it may be a common problem since im not the only one...it looks like the outer layer bubbles up, and eventually peels off.
