Center Channel

I am buying the components to put together my 5.1 system in the 4R. I haven't took the dash apart or removed the old headunit yet so I don't know how much space there is between the bottom of the dash and the top of the headunit. I am going to build a custom pod for the speaker but was wondering if anyone had any idea, I figure there is probably about 1 1/2 inches. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
