Center Con Power Modification anyone?

I read that the new 2009 4R are going to have a better use for that flip up storage are next to the driver (currently houses the plug in power cig lighter). I bought a Black and Decker power adapter that has a USB port and reg house plug adapter. i've been trying to figure out how I can get this power adapter connected and housed in this flip up storage area. Looks like it would fit perfectly.

Anyone else do this mod or have suggestions how I can tie this adapter into the current cig lighter supply so that I have all three plug in's working?

Since the circuit is limited to 120W overall, and you're trying to add a 115V outlet, you'll probably need to wire in a new circuit for the additional power. There have been posts about adding an inverter and wiring directly to the battery.

I have one on the right side of the column by the foot well. Held with adhesive foam just fine. Wired up under the console to the fuse box and clipped to an appropriate fuse (I forget which one).
