AH! Stupid iPhone :redbrick:

I actually got a Dell Venue Pro over the holidays and it pops up word suggestions as you type, which is way better than the Nokia predictive text I had been using for the last 8 years. WP7 for the win.

Thanks all. I can only extract the Collision Repair Manual, the Misc file, the Wiring Diagram and the Owner's manual. I am unable to download the Repair Manual files: RM.zip or the RM pdfed.zip and I am assuming it's in there since i've been through all the files in everything that I can download. Have you had any luck downloading the RM file?

Works fine for me.

Whenever I click on Nashman's link now TR4.org just loops me back to t4r.org. Tried mozilla, explorer and chrome browsers. ???????????

To the OP jsmallco..what exactly are you trying to get to?
For the console.... Just remove the shift knobs, those two long silver plastic covers in front of the console and then the console.

There are no screws holding them ,just yellow plastic friction push pins sort of shaped like a Christmas tree. Grab the 2 plastic trim pieces and pull hard back toward you.Reach down in the rear cup holder and pull straight up to get the console started, then pull it up and unplug the elec. connectors. The plastic pieces are made of some tough ABS plastic and I don't think you could break them if you tried! here's a link with pics and an explanation. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...-sliding-tray-5th-gen-limited.html#post500791

@Harper. Thanks for the long reply. I tried that but teh ipwn is so tiring to type on. And I already got it wring once. Hah.

@OP. It's really super easy. I was surprised how easy it was to pull the panels.

harper7...I'm using Safari and can link to my link in both my sig and the direct link to post 21 from above. I'll try the pc when I get to work tomorrow--firefox and explorer.

Jsmallco...I have no problem DLing the files. Try again and let me know how it goes.

You can turn that off on the iPhone.......

Go to
Settings>General>Keyboard>Auto-Correction and then OFF

Thanks everyone. Finally got it to work. I had to join the 3 downloaded files with MacHacha software, rename the join file to a .zip and then unzip it with stuffit on MacOs. Probably an easier way...
