Center consoleswap question

So I have a 98 center console. I have been looking for a 2000 console in tan with the cup holder inserts. Just found the black insert (back half of insert) with the cup holders and parking brake slot, anyone just swappd this part, rahter than the whole console?

I don't believe you are able to. The center console is completely different from pre-99.

Once you get it, see it...you'll see.

Yes, you MUST swap the whole console. Good luck finding one... I've been on the search for quite sometime now.

99+ is so nice to have!

The cup holders are nice.

I would like to see if a 99 center bezel that goes around where the radio is will fit a pre-99. That way I can get rid of my cup holders up top since I don't feel the need for 4 cup holders.
