Center Grille Guard

I currently have Westin Safari Guard and wanted to replace with a center guard to mount 8.5 lights (budget does not allow grille with brush guard). Tried to replace with T&H Euro bar but did not like the screwed-in light tabs. Also, tried to order custom Light Bar but did not pan out (I cancelled order after 2 months of waiting)

Does anybody have either of this center grille guards on their 4-runner? Please post pictures - thanks in advance.

Thanks Koz - Stainless looks great on Salsa Red. Jaos is $$$. Also, I have Galactic Gray and prefer powder black.

Just make sure it is powder coated stainless, or it will rust real quick.

I have westin stainless grille guard as shown. I will post more pictures when I get a chance.

It is big but it protects the bumper which most don't. I will be getting the KC Rally 800s as soon as I stop buying shit for my PU camper.

Most important is that you ONLY use stainless hardware. It cost me an extra $90, but not one bit of rust. Whenever I see a guard on someone

You see why I was willing to go with the bigger guard that protects the bumper!

I'm glad its working for you. A bit overkill for my tast though. I think I'll stick with the Westin Safari bar to protect from the headin parking bumps when an idiot can't judge the front end of their car.

I used that to show people if there were no grille guard.
as you can see, it disappears on second photo.

Hi Koz,

Not to hijack the thread, but I had to chime in on the RV forum when the Nissan loyalists were actually comparing their Pathfinders and Xterras to the 4Runner!

Seriously, the Xterra is a great smaller-midsize off-raod SUV for the money. A great big V6 engine but only part-time 4WD. Smoother on the road than the prevous model, but its no 4th gen 4Runner. Then again, it is a lower price point vehicle.

Having seriously considered the new Pathfinder, I was disappointed after two test drives. The third row is more hospitable than that offered on the Runner (and that aint saying much!) but second seat leg room is skimpy. With it's IFS I would assume it is less capable than the Runner off-road, but the on-ride was definitely not in the same class. Steering was heavy with lots of engine and road noise. Reliability - not even as close as it once was. Nissan has fallen several pegs the last few years.

I have Manik Stainless Steel Brush Guard with PIAA 525 6-1/2" lights. Just a grille guard will look as my central part and I think you can fit 8-1/2' lights there.
