Central Iowa-- Need input

Does anyone in central Iowa have experience with Car Sound, in Des Moines? It's near the Merle Hay mall, on Douglas Ave. Specifically interested in remote start installations.

Car Sound in Des Moines is not the best. If you really want the best go to the place that has been around for 50 years. We have had plenty of aftermarket places, but only one place has stuck around since before I was born. Its where our family takes all of our vehicles from repairing speaker installs on used cars, to installing remote starts, and laser/radar jammer detector. I highly recommend Ford and Garland downtown. The name is a little misleading, but it is just the owners last name. They work on anything and everything, from the most basic, to the most custom installs. Good luck, and great truck! :cheers:

Not sure if you are willing to travel but we've been to Automotive Electronics in Cedar Rapids twice for remote starts and will be going back a third time for my wife's Subaru. They do it all. Pretty sure they handle things for quite a few dealers around town as well...Pat McGrath being one of them.

Another vote for Automotive Electronics in Cedar Rapids. They have done our last 4 vehicles. Nathan and crew are professional and stand behind their work. My Volvo was a bit of a problem child and they worked through all of the quirks with installing on that vehicle. My 4R developed an issue about a month after install and it turned out to be a bad module. Again no charge to make it right. I'm sure DM has installers of A E's caliber so hopefully others can verify, just a very satisfied customer in CR.

Awesome! It is actually right across the street from where I work here downtown at Principal. It's a great knowledgeable staff. Again nice job on the early graduation present! Did she go here local for undergrad?

Grand View. Basketball scholarship. Career cut short by ankle injury, but she really likes DSM. If you see a white Trail there today it's her.

Nice good for her. Had a few friends that went there. Am definitely jealous of her vehicle, and I will keep and eye out. Anything ever comes up or need a helping hand locally just let me know sir.
