Central OH 4Runners

Hello All!
First post here but I just placed an order for a 2017 TRD Pro in Cement Gray over the weekend. It will be a few months wait for it but I am excited for it!

Welcome! Some times I go weeks without seeing a 4Runner in C-bus, today I saw 4! They all looked the soccer mom type drivers, so a wave would be wasted, but I'm very interested in seeing the Cement in person. Which dealer did you go through?

I have a feeling thats probably normal. I ordered mine from Toyota Direct on Morse Rd.
One of the guys there just took delivery of his TRD pro tacoma in cement. It looks amazing in person!

I've since sold the silver truck featured earlier in this thread. I know Drive this. I live in New Albany and work in Dublin. Don't frequent the west side or south side but north and east side I'm all over. Wave if you see me!

Hey everyone, new to the forum and the 4Runner in general. Live in Westerville/Polaris area. I just purchased a 05' Limited V8 in gold. Got a hell of a deal on it w/ only 74k miles and one previous owner.
I'll add a picture when I can.

Lima Area

Hey all.

Throwing my name in the ring, too. I mostly cruise the 5th Gen forum so it's taken me awhile to realize that this thread / area exists. I'm up in the Lima area (about 1.5h NW of C'bus) but I'm def into making some contacts and hitting whatever trails might be around us.

Sub'ed to this thread now. :brushteeth:

Because I've not seen it already posted here.

New to NE Ohio from Colorado, new to a 4Runner and new to the forum. Way less Runners here than CO, but I'll be looking and I'll wave when I see ya! BTW - I hope I love Ohio as much as I love my 4Runner.

Moving to CLE from PHX. Anyone out in CLE ? I know at this point exactly 0 people ! I could use a mechanic recommendation or two !
What area of Cleveland? I don't know any good mechanics yet, but it's s Toyota. We have a good group of guys and ladies in Medina, Ohio, about 40 mins south of Cleveland. You'll see us posting nonsense on the Ohio 4Runners page on Facebook.
Good luck with the move and hit us up when you get here. Safe travels!!

Hi guys, I'm new to OH and just moved to Columbus. Looking to do some offroading around here, nothing crazy, im still new to it.

Anything planned? I joined the FB group too btw, but if someone's in the mood, why not plan some overlanding or off roading day trip soon?

I'm starting to find it rather hilarious how little there seems to be around Columbus. The Ohio 4Runner Group did go somewhere up by Mohican, I think.

But outside of a few gravel roads, almost everything seems to be an 1+ Hour away, if you're even lucky to find someone who will actually tell you where to go.

From what I gather, there is nothing official and/or legal, outside of southington, wellsville, and lake county. Most of what I've seen tends to be geared towards ATVs or mudding.

Some of what I've read online seems to suggest that ODNR has no interest in supporting trails large enough for SUVs.

I've not caught the bug enough to invest thousands in modifications that I'll never, or will probably never use. So I hesitate to drive hours to get somewhere my skills or vehicle may or may not line up with the trail.

I am wondering if any of you have used this guide to find places to get the tires a bit dirty and find some good hiking? I'm new to Ohio and would like to do some exploring this summer/fall. Any recommendations? https://www.recreation.gov/unifSearchResults.do

Try REI's www.hikingproject.com for the hiking routes. NW Ohio is legendary for flat, Historic Great Black Swamp region and all, but I have added some trails on it. Depending on where in OH you landed the Buckeye Trail loops all the way around. North County Trail has a ton of joined trails with BT and also the American Discovery Trail runs the southern region. Ultimately, SE Ohio is prime for hiking. Wayne NF, Hocking Hills etc.

Enjoy!
