We are working on a weekend trip to W. VA to explore the Hatfield McCoy Trails. There are over 60 miles of trails in the Bear Wallow trail network which allow trucks.

When: Friday May 4th - Sunday May 6th
Where: Hatfield McCoy Trails - W. Virginia
What: Camping, wheelin’ and there has been discussions of shooting

I would love to go except I have my kids cub scout spring camp out at Camp Akita in Hocking that weekend. Any chance of it moving weekends?

Definitely keep us posted, I'm dying to get out on the trail with some local guys. My alternator went out during the last meet up, so please let us know about the local events as well!

Would anyone have any interest in crashing the local cars and coffee at Lennox on a Saturday morning? My buddy organizes it, and it's a very laid back group with some cool rides to look at.

Nice! Yeah, I will be there most days for the next year or two. I am an elevator mechanic, and we have a big elevator and escalator mod inside.

Hi, we recently moved to Dayton, OH this summer and I just picked up a 3rd gen 2002 Sport. Loving the truck so far! Drove it back from Houston, TX and everything seems to be runnings smoothly.

This is my first foray into 4x4s my last few cars were an M5, 911, and a mild show Volkswagen.

I'm hoping to find a good local mechanic (willing to travel if need be) since I don't have a garage/tools (a lot of that stuff is still back in Seattle, where we moved from). Does anyone have a suggestion of any shops who know a thing or two about 4Runners specifically? Wanting to get caught up on maintenance before mods.

Hi and welcome!

I don't know of any non-dealership places with a lot of experience in Toyotas, but I'd love to know about one if you find one in OH. I'm in Lima. As you've probably seen already, there are a lot of great write ups on maintenance stuff you can do yourself. The write ups make it easy even for a novice, but if you have wrenching experience, it'll definitely be no sweat.
