I am planning to camp out, also will we have a meeting point to start the trip. If so I am assuming it would be in Harrisburg, this is my first trek out there so will be brand new to the area. Also will have to know where to get all the passes and what not, hope to see everyone in a few weeks. Have a long work-on-truck weekend ahead of me to get my rig ready.

You can apply for a pass to get on Peters Mill Run online, or you can get in some surrounding stores.

Hopefully I can make it, turns out my boss is calling us in for at least that Friday and possibly Saturday. If I have to come Saturday after work I will do so and meet up with the group on Sunday.

Also where can we check to see if Big levels is still closed?

I can't find any solid information on Big Levels without driving out there. VDOT is paving a portion of the dirt road that leads to the trail head (not sure how far they're going) but the last time i posted on this thread i just drove out and the gate was locked up and nothing was posted on when it would opened again.

Sorry i can't be more helpful but i could always swing by the entrance on my way home from work to see if it's been reopened if you want!

I updated the first post to reflect this.

As I have stated before I am not sure I will be going to the March 26th run, with it being easter and my first wedding anniversary we may not go. Now just because I may not go does not mean that we cant do the 26th run. As we get close we can elect someone to be the organizer for that day to spear head that weekend.

Big Levels is definitely closed. I drove by tonight on my way home. No dates or anything posted just a gate.

Looks like Mar 26 and Apr 30 are holding the lead, as is Flagpole and Peter's Mill. Since Mar 26 is Easter, that's a nice tie breaker in favor of Apr 30. The longer it takes to become official, the higher the probability that my wife will plan something else for whatever weekend we go with...

Also, I just got some maxtrax from my brother for my birthday, and I'm totally stoked to try them out. stuck or not.

With that being said. Who all will actually go on the 26th of March to Flagpole? That is Easter weekend and I will NOT be going as it is my wedding anniversary weekend. I need someone to step up and lead that journey out.

Also I am not opposed to running on the 9th of April as well as the 30th of April. Lets get multiple runs in April!! I will go with either run or both in April so I just need someone to step up for the 26th if those who voted will actually go. I can give any and all info needed

Here's my input:

A) I don't care where we go, it's all the same to me

B) I've blocked off 30 April, so that's good to go

C) I can't do Easter

D) I may be able to do the 9th as well. I might have to travel for a work interview that week and I don't know when I would be coming back.

E) Still stoked. I haven't put my truck to off-road use on this continent yet.
