[MENTION=125025]GHARP57[/MENTION] we need to get you out to West Virginia. This trip was awesom ran flag pole Friday night camped at the top then woke up Saturday morning ran down Switzer lake then headed out to Davis West Virginia and ran some trails out there. It was a blast. It was the perfect weekend even though some of us woke up to flooded tents (me) and a creek that rose close to a foot and a half over night. Was worth it.

I just want to put it back out there BUT if there is anyone that wants to run some of these trails on a weekday (Wednesday, Thursday, maybe Friday) let me know because i work in the hospitality industry and i don't see having a weekend off anytime in the next ..... ever.

Thanks for your kind words and I'm glad that you like them.

I used a Canon 6D. I forgot to bring my zoom lens and only had my 100mm Prime, which made it hard to get some wide shots. I won't forget the next time.

I will say this if you want to run flagpole at night I would get better lighting. I rand it with just headlights converted to hids and they brought the suck.

starting to plan a June trip. I will leave the beach Friday night and camp at meadow knob and then run down to spritzer lake to see the view and then back up to enjoy the view of reddish knob and then probably run over to big levels and camp somewhere along the ridge saturday and go hike humpback rocks again sunday. Any one is welcome to come along and join at any part of the trip. I do not have a specific weekend planed yet as this will be a trip with out my daughter.

I'd love to tag along, I know my girlfriend and I are eyeing June 11th weekend for a camping/backpacking trip. If you are out there, maybe start the weekend off with a trail and then split up.

NoVAphotog orangepanzer I just put in for time off on the 11th my plan is to leave Virginia beach Friday at 6:30 and head to flag pole camp there and then go down to Switzer lake and then head back up the trail to go to reddish knob for pictures and then I was gonna head out to Crabtree falls and hike that and maybe spy rock. The head over to big levels and camp somewhere on that ridge and then wake up and hike hump back ridge on Sunday.
