Well I reckon its 'bout that time Central Va Trails 5.0 is official! I say we either do Flag pole or Big Levels. I am leaning towards Flagpole but let the votes roll in! As Far as dates I am shooting for later next month to give everyone time to get time off in.

Heck yeah. I'm feelin it. I'm down for flagpole as I will have a new buddy with me and we've been talking it up. This is before the big clean up on Big Levels and I am not about those pinstripes I got there last time man.

Would love to go but I can't make it. Just started my first big boy job and can't take time off for the first 90 days :rockthrow:

Maybe next time/year! Can also use it as an excuse to visit peeps I know down there!

Brother we do this every couple of months keep looking for it I am sure we will be doing it again. Probably a couple more times before December is out!!

Gonna try to come out, depends on the progress of my house since it should be done around the 2nd/3rd week in August.

Flagpole run

I'm down for Flagpole, this will be my first trail run since having the Runner. Been on Corolla Beach plenty of times with. I'm ready to see what it can do since I put the Bilsteins on and leveled This is the August 19th ~ 21st Flagpole run we're talking here right?

Sounds good to me. I know I'm busy on the 19th-21st for the craft beer festival but I might be able to swing the last weekend. @h20boi I was just at corolla fort there first time last week, fun stuff but it's crazy hot out there!

Voted for Sept. 10. With a 3 month old baby and other things going on, it's probably the only date I can do it. Fingers crossed.

Just to be clear it is apparent that another group of people has set up a run for the 19th-21st at Flagpole. This is NOT the thread for that.

This thread is set up to plan a trip we do every few months with whoever wants to come, I usually give 2-3 locations here in Central Va to go to with multiple dates to vote for to try and get the most people out and the most flexible schedule. I always say if your weekend is not the *Chosen* weekend but you have 3 or 4 other people who want to go on the date you chose then rally up with them and go have fun! I just give a wide variety to choose from to give everyone enough time to request off for the weekend that gets the most votes!

Making an impromptu trip to Flagpole this weekend that doesnt coincide with anything we are doing with this group, if you want to come let me know! we will be meeting at the shell aroudn noon tomorrow.

I'll be hitting flagpole on this Saturday (8/13), everyone is welcome. I plan on meeting around 11am in Harrisonburg. Post here to let everyone know who's in.

Awwwww MAN. 5.5 hour drive to Harrisonburg. That is so tempting. Ugh... if it was like 4 hours I would do it in a heartbeat.

Heading up this weekend to scout the area, all are welcome. Not the "official trip". I am not the thread master.

I'm camping at Lewis mountain camp area in SNP the night before and after. Your welcome to share a campsite or get your own. It's about a 1hr drive to the trailhead.

My replacement CV half shaft was delivered today. If I can get that installed and get the shake at 55+ figured out (I suspect I lost some wheel weights) I think I might make the trip down. The weather is supposed to be thunderstorms from tomorrow through Sunday here so I wouldn't be able to work on the stuff I wanted to work on anyway. We'll see how the next couple days go.
