I ordered my T4R (Limited, V8, 4x2, NAV, and all the bells and whistles I can think of) a couple of weeks ago and was told it may take up to 6 to 8 weeks for it to come in. I just got a call today and was told that it may be longer and because of production, I might end up getting an '08. I was asked if it would be OK and that they cannot guarantee that it would have the same body style. Has anyone heard of this? Is the '08 model supposed to be different. Not that I mind, but I have not heard or seen anything in magazines or online about the new '08 model.

I was told by Toyota that the new body style would not be until the 2009 or 2010 Model. I am guessing that if anything changes it may be subtle body changes like molding. But I wouldn't think so because they just changed it a little bit in 2006!! I would flat out ask them if its a redesign, They would have to tell you because you already purchased it!!!

Minor changes usually are good for about two years. Since there were changes in 2006, it makes sense that there might be some very minor changes in 2008.
