Change Interior Color in Limited?

I was able to buy a 2007 4Runner Limited at a real bargain price because of a strange color choice...silver metallic on the outside and taupe (instead of stone) on the inside. Do I have any options now for getting rid of the taupe? Is it worth installing new leather seat covers (maybe in black or charcoal) and using matching duplicolor on the doors? Or should I take it to a professional re-upholstery auto shop instead? Or is it not even worth it because the price will be too high and I should just learn to live with the taupe? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks...

Man - you must have saved a real bundle buying a vehicle with an interior you don't like and be willing to go out and redo it! Personally, I'd just leave it - rather a nice combo especially if you were in a warm claimate like FL/TX/AZ. A quality leather interior is costly and I wouldn't even try to spray the door panels to match. I've used the spray on old vinyl and it came out just ok - but not suitable for a $30k vehicle. If you decide to redo it - send me your old leather - it would look real sharp and be unique in my Black '03 SE (plus I like the smeel of leather)!

I wouldn't bother. From what I can tell, taupe and stone look very similar. Not worth the effort IMO.
