Change Title of Under Your Screenname

Hey all,

If you're tired of your title under your name, you can change it. To change your title under your screenname, just click on "USER CP" button above. Then, click on "EDIT PROFILE". Then, scroll down to "Custom User Text:" and change your title under "New Title:".

Now, you can call yourself anything you want! (Well, except "Board Certified SUV Nut!"!)

I don't see the custom user text field in the edit profile page. Is this still an option? If so,what am I missing?

I looked at the edit options page in case this was affecting the custom user text. I have all fields set to yes except for 2 in the
e-mail section. Has anyone else not seen the custom user text in "edit profile" and was able to fix this?

You are in the correct area. This is listed right after where you enter your birthday. Mine says custom user text and then lists what is currently listed. Then it lets you type in what you want. Hope this helps.

I cannot see this option as well, though, i think it may be related to the number of posts you have... Once you get past a certain point, like 50, or somethin, it will show up.

yeah...you have to post 50 times, then you are given the "member" designation and can change it/

Some seem to have retained theirs over the upgrade , some didnt , including me :nono:

Maybe no one knows where to find the setting with the new software .

Got to VBulletin Options in admin control panel

Then to Usergroup Manager

Then to the usergroup of choice , click edit

Scroll to General Permissions , about mid way , check off Allow Custom User Titles .



Then everyone will see it under Edit Profile in their UserCP

Custom User Titles is not checked off by default anymore in the Admin settings. Needs to be done by owner now . Hopefully Thai or GG will see my above post .

Still awaiting an answer from Greg. Thai went in but couldn't find the setting. Greg is working on a big non-T4R.org project with work so he's hasn't checked it out yet...
